Leanne is a registered psychologist who began her career working with children and families, and has loved it ever since. Families see Leanne for assessments to understand Autism, ADHD, Specific Learning Disorders among other things. She has found that there are always people waiting to access support, especially in rural areas. As a result Leanne provides online information for parents about what children need for development, how this can be adapted for kids developing differently, and practical implementation strategies.
Child Psychology: Without the Child
How parents can create meaningful change at home by working with a psychologist themselves. What if the most powerful way to support your child didn’t involve putting them in therapy — but started with you? In this refreshing and empowering session, psychologist Leanne Tran shares how parents can make significant shifts in their child’s emotional wellbeing and behaviour without bringing their child into sessions. You’ll discover why parent-led support is one of the most effective — and underused — approaches in child psychology, and how understanding your child’s nervous system, sensory needs, and emotional triggers can lead to calmer days and deeper connection. Leanne will walk you through: Why “managing behaviour” isn’t the full story (and what to focus on instead) How emotional regulation starts with co-regulation — and what that looks like in real life Practical tools parents can use right away to feel more confident and less overwhelmed If you’ve ever wondered what’s really going on during a meltdown, or felt stuck between guessing and guilt, this session is for you. You’ll leave with real insight, practical strategies, and a free downloadable workbook to help you get started at home.

Parent Wellbeing
This reflective and practical workshop is designed especially for you as a parent raising a neurodivergent child. It focuses on the often-invisible emotional load you carry and offers real, sustainable ways to lighten it. While much of the support system tends to focus on your child, this session turns the spotlight toward you—the one quietly holding everything together behind the scenes. There will be time to pause, reflect, and reconnect with yourself. Through evidence-based strategies, you’ll explore what’s been draining your energy, reframe the guilt that can often show up, and discover small, achievable ways to care for yourself amidst daily demands. You’ll leave feeling supported with practical tools to restore energy, set boundaries with compassion, and prioritise your own wellbeing—without needing hours of extra time or a major life overhaul.
